i heart art, twenty-five

On August 25, 2010 in I Heart Art, by koralee

oh, profanity. so crass and yet often so effective at communicating emotions such as anger, frustration, etc. i myself struggle with my own use of expletives, always knowing there must be something better than the f-word and not having the presence of mind when i have slammed my finger in a door to leaf through through the dictionary in my brain.

speaking of struggle, i had second thoughts about posting this. but here’s what i think: this is great song, probably one of the best things ever from cee-lo as far as i’m concerned. and i’ve not heard anything in a long time that so effectively expresses exactly the emotional roller coaster of being dumped for a more upscale model and made me feel happy.  i’ve listened to it a few times, and i wasn’t offended, i was singing and dancing around my apartment in my underwear.

enjoy! (but you’ve been warned….)

ps: if you are offended by rude words, now would be the time do something else.

pps: nothing has meaning except the meaning i give it.

I recently heard about a study that proved, cussing when hurt, actually eases the pain! :D
